# GET /v2/fixtures/{id}/statistics

Group: Fixtures

Match statistics grouped by period and category.

Note: Same graded coverage as lineups, and it deepens as a match progresses: a lower-tier fixture may carry only cards, a top league the full set of groups. Keys are one vocabulary across sports (totalShots, shotsOnGoal, passes, fouls, …; every key per sport is in the reference’s Statistic keys), group keys a fixed table per sport. American football: the team’s passingNetYards and passingYardsPerAttempt are the source’s gross figures (sacks not taken off) — the players’ own passingNetYards in the lineups are net. A fixture with no statistics (yet — e.g. not started) returns 200 with { "periods": [] }; 404 only for an id that does not exist. Refreshed about every 30 seconds while the match is live.
