What counts as a request?
Every authenticated /v2 call, the WebSocket ticket included. Calls refused with 401, or with 403 because the endpoint is outside your plan, are not counted. One request is one count — no credits or weights.
What happens when I reach my quota?
Calls answer 429 quota_exceeded with Retry-After until the quota resets: at 00:00 UTC on the 1st on paid plans, at 00:00 UTC every day on Free. The per-minute rate is a separate limit: going over it answers 429 rate_limited for the rest of that minute.
How do I pay for a paid plan?
Paid plans are set up with you directly over Telegram for now. Message us with the plan you want and we switch your account.
How far back does the data go?
7 days on Free, 30 days on Starter, 12 months on Pro and the full history on Business — 10+ years on average. Upcoming and live data are never limited.
How current are live scores?
The live state of a match — score, status, clock — is current to the second in every response that carries it. Everything else has a worst-case age per endpoint, listed under Data freshness in the docs.
Do you have betting odds?
No. SportsAPI carries no betting odds and no ads — only match data, and our own win-probability model on Pro and Business.
Which plan includes the WebSocket?
Business. The other plans read the same live data over REST; the WebSocket pushes every change as it happens, with replay after a reconnect.
Can I call the API from a web page?
CORS is open, but an API key in a public page can be read by anyone. Call the API from your server, or embed our widgets (Pro and Business) with a widget key that only works on your sites.
Are your ids stable?
Yes. Every id in a response is our own, and a team, player, league or match keeps its id.
